CVT and Lead Technician
Jess joined Akin Hills Pet Hospital in 2004. She decided to pursue her work with animals as a career path thanks to her passion for the animals and excitement that comes with the ever-changing day to day of the veterinary field. She graduated with her Associate’s of Applied Science degree from Argosy University and became a CVT in the summer of 2013. She has a cat who is her shadow and baby named Max, a crazy yellow lab pup named Bane and a maltese who loves sitting under her desk at AHPH named Kitty. In her spare time she chases after her 2 rambunctious daughters and resides with her husband, daughters and pets in Lonsdale.
Nikki graduated from Argosy in 2011 and joined the Akin Hills team in 2014. She and her husband have a Gordon Setter named Mikko. She enjoys playing video games in her free time and is also a book blogger.
Jen graduated from Argosy University in 2014 with an Associates of Applied Science degree in Veterinary Technology. She originally joined the Akin Hills team in 2013 as a receptionist/vet assistant and was able to gain experience and knowledge before she became a Certified Veterinary Technician. The thing she enjoys most about her job is being able to help improve the lives of animals. She lives in Apple Valley with her 2 Beagle mixes and 3 cats.
Emily joined Akin Hills in August 2017. She attended Argosy University and graduated with a degree in Veterinary Technology in December 2018. She took and passed her VTNE in March 2019 to become a
Certified Veterinary Technician. She has always had a passion for working with animals and working here is a dream come true. She has 2 cats named Weezer and Frankie and a dog named Lucy.
Emily joined Akin Hills Pet Hospital in April 2019. She graduated from Argosy University and became a Certified Veterinary Technician in 2013. She completed her internship in a veterinary hospital specializing in small animal reproduction. Prior to joining the Akin Hills family, Emily worked at a Specialty and Emergency clinic where she worked in the Surgery department as well as Internal Medicine. Emily has a passion for surgery and anesthesia as well as radiology. Emily and her husband recently moved to Farmington with their 3 children, 2 boxers, and 3 cats.
